1. Shipping and delivery

Shipping within Ireland:

The shipping cost for orders below 140,00 € is 30,00 €. We offer free shipping if the order value exceeds140,00 € (except for delivery abroad and special types of parcels – bulky items, core parts, and tyres).

You will not be charged any additional transaction fees when using payment methods such as PayPal or credit card.

Shipping outside of Ireland:

The shipping costs for delivery to other countries listed below are valid regardless of the order value and must be paid accordingly.

Bulky item surcharge:

The following spare parts are considered bulky items:
batteries, catalytic converters, manifolds, silencers, racing exhaust silencers, thresholds, wings, fuel tanks, spoilers, side panels, trailer couplings (hitches), front cowlings, engine covers, bonnets, engine compartment insulation, and bumpers.

Delivery of bulky goods to Ireland is not possible!

Delivery of bulky goods within Germany:

1) The shipping cost of manifolds, catalytic converters, silencers, or racing exhaust silencers will incur a bulky item surcharge of 5,00 €

2) The shipping of batteries, fenders, thresholds, fuel tanks, side panels, spoilers, and bumpers will incur a bulky item surcharge of 10,00 €

3) The shipping of front cowlings, trailer couplings (hitches), engine covers, bonnets, and bumpers within Germany will incur a bulky item surcharge of 15,00 €

There is no delivery on public holidays.

Transfer of transport risk – the following applies to business customers:

The risk of accidental destruction and deterioration of goods during delivery transfers to you as soon as the goods have been handed over to the person responsible for transporting them or when the goods have left our warehouses for shipping purposes. The earliest occurring event is the deciding event.

Accepting the goods/transport damage

1. We use parcel services to ship your order, among other methods. Should a consignment of goods you receive be damaged, please proceed as follows: If possible, complain about the damaged goods to the parcel service employee directly and document the degree and extent of the damage. This will neither restrict nor affect your guarantee rights.

2. You can also refuse to accept damaged goods. If the goods delivered are damaged, please contact us by telephone, email, or personally at the aforementioned addresses. You will thus help us to enforce our claims against the parcel service and improve our service to you at the same time.

2. Prices and payment methods

1. We offer you various methods for paying for the goods purchased. You can find the specific payment methods on the relevant product page.

2. All prices in our online shop are given in EUR and include the statutory value added tax (VAT). All our prices are ex-warehouse and include packaging but exclude all shipping costs and any COD costs.

3. The price of the goods is valid at the moment the order is placed and is shown in the order confirmation that you receive by email after you place the order. If items are saved in the shopping basket, their total price is updated to the latest daily price during the ordering process.

4. For purchase contracts between you and us, the total payable price – including shipping costs – is due immediately. You agree to receive the invoice solely in electronic form.

Credit card:
After you have chosen credit card as payment method, please click on “confirm order”. After this you will be redirected to a secure page where you can select your credit card type. Finally, you have to enter the correct card information and to confirm the payment. Your card will be charged after your order has been completed.

Pay Pal:
After you place the order, you will be redirected to the PayPal sign-in page. Please sign in and make the payment. To pay by means of PayPal you need to have a PayPal account. There are no additional charges in connection with this.

5. Please note that in the interests of secure payment, the necessary identity documents, information on your account/credit card and a comparison of the delivery address may be requested. This is done solely for your security. The data are sent via a secure connection and are not passed to third parties. In such cases, the processing time of an order may take longer. If the information requested is not provided, the order will be cancelled and the costs for the order will be reimbursed in the same currency you selected when placing the order. In such a case, the goods will not be shipped and the offer made by you will be deemed to have been declined.

Consumers (Section 13 of the German Civil Code, BGB) have a statutory right to cancel in accordance with the following policy with reference to the online purchase of goods.

3. Returns

Right to cancel for consumers

You have the right to cancel this contract without giving a reason within fourteen days.

The deadline for cancellation is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party you have designated, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods.
To exercise your right of cancellation, you must inform us (Autodoc GmbH, Josef-Orlopp-Straße 55, 10365 Berlin, Germany, Fax: +49 30 208 478 250, Email: by an explicit declaration (e.g. a letter sent by post, a fax or an email) of your decision to cancel this contract. You may use the attached sample cancellation form for this purpose, which, however, is not mandatory.

In order to meet the deadline for cancellation, it is sufficient to send the notice concerning the exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation deadline expires.

Consequences of cancellation

If you cancel this contract, we shall return to you all the payments that we have received from you, including the costs of delivery (except the additional costs resulting, because you selected a different form of delivery than the most reasonably priced standard delivery we offered) immediately and no later than fourteen days after the day on which we received the notice of your cancellation of this contract. We will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will we charge you fees for such repayment.

The following applies for goods that can normally be sent by post:

We can refuse to make the refund until we have received back the goods or until you have produced evidence that you have sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must send back or hand over the goods to us without delay and, in any event, within fourteen days from the day on which you inform us about the cancellation of this contract: Autodoc GmbH (Retoure - Lager R) Rhinstraße 132, 12681 Berlin, Germany.

The deadline is met if you dispatch the goods before expiry of the fourteen-day deadline. You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

The following applies for goods that cannot normally be sent back by post (e.g. spare parts that cannot be packaged):

You shall only be liable for any loss of value of the goods if such loss of value can be attributed to handling of the goods that is not necessary to check their condition, properties and functioning.

For goods with additional transportation safety requirements (batteries):

When you receive a product that includes a special notification advising you to keep the packaging material in case of return, we recommend you follow these instructions:

- keep the sealing bungs that are used to plug the holes and prevent battery fluid from leaking;

- keep the packing materials that protect the battery housing from damage;

- keep the box marked with a warning that it contains hazardous material.

If your AUTODOC parcel was damaged, please use new packing materials to send the product back to us. Since the parcel contains hazardous material, make sure to use a sturdy and shock-resistant shipping box. Secure the item against movement within the outer packaging and against accidental activation. Place the item upright in the shipping box and make sure it's not loose. Use filling materials, such as the filling material provided by AUTODOC or some newspaper to fill any empty space between the shipping box and the item.

Damaged hazardous materials, such as leaking batteries, are not returnable and should be disposed of at a specialised recycling facility.

Exceptions to the right to cancel

There are legal exceptions to the right to cancel (Section 312g of the German Civil Code, BGB), in which context we reserve the right to refer to the following towards you: There is no right to cancel for contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or specification by the consumer is decisive or that are explicitly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs.

There is no right to cancel for the delivery of goods, if these were inseparably mixed with other goods after delivery due to their properties.
Furthermore, please be informed that, pursuant to Section 357 (7) (1) of the German Civil Code (BGB), you must reimburse us for any loss of value that can be attributed to handling of the goods that was not necessary to check their condition, properties and functioning. There are court decisions to the effect that the installation of automobile parts is also “not necessary.”
